Making cakes? And Disney on ice? Hhmmm… Well making cakes is fun because it’s edible art. I get to “paint” so to speak which is really hard to do if you’re a mom (it’s messy), but not so hard when it’s a cake. And who doesn’t love a cake? Especially the kids cakes. They just love to see Pooh or Mickey or Tink on a cake!

Would really like to take the kids to see this. It has been a very tough year and this would be a great way to end it.

Look at me..my mind was totally on Disney on Ice I forgot to tell eveyone why making cakes are so much fun. Me and my daughters Kaitlyn and Riley love making cakes. We will add food coloring to the icing and make different colors and we love making a mess….those memories will never leave my head of the three of us in matching aprons making a cake….I think this year on my birthday which is december 22nd I think that is what me and my girls will do…make mommy a birthday cake….

Well Sophia is quite the little baker in our house so we bake often. I asked her the question ( she”ll be 3 on 12-27)….. ” mommy you’re silly … The icing of course!” couldn’t have said it better myself!

Making cakes are so much fun! We like to make a party out of it at my house. My little girl gets excited that when we make a “surprise” cake for Daddy for no other reason than to celebrate happiness! We sing songs and dance while we mix up batch. Creating and decorating a cake brings out the artist in all of us even the little ones can put the cute character decorations on it.
Then we all get to eat our cake and have the icing too!!!

Disney on ICE! Free tickets would be wonderful! We used to take the kids every year to Disney on Ice when they were smaller. For Christmas, our grandmother would give us a lump sum of money for the kids instead of gifts and that’s what we used them for!!! DISNEY ON ICE! It’s a wonderful time…….we would love to win!

  • Lauren Keating said:

I love making cakes, but even more I love eating the cake. Just made a carrot cake…mmmm good!!

  • Pam Sheppard said:

For me, making cakes is so much fun because my kids love them! They’re usually gone within a day or so!

  • Tim Truman said:

Making Cake are fun because it is even more fun to eat them especially with friends and family!

  • Kim said:

Cakes, glorious cakes! Whatever so scrumptious! Baking cakes with my kiddos is all about the egg-cracking, measuring, mixing, spoon-licking & memory-making. The television is off, the house smells delicious & the 2 munchkins are smiling from ear to ear, armed with their jimmies, multi-colored sugars & other yummy decorating doodads. Usually, we bake cakes to celebrate a happy event, so that makes every chocolatey bite all the more sweeter. ‘May I please have some more?’

I haven’t taken either of my younger children to one of these, my oldest who is now 9 went when he was 3.

Making cakes is fun because you get to lick the beaters twice: for the cake and for the icing. Since I have 2 kids they each get one with no bickering!! I would love to win these tickets as I used to take my son to EVERY Disney on ice performance when he was little and my daughter, who is 4, has never been. She would love it!

  • Nichole DiLossi said:

Making cakes is a work of art and so much fun!!! I bake just to see my sons’ face light up when he gets to decorate! Plus my husband loves to lick the bowl…lol Please pick me i would love to take my family to Disney on ice!!! Thanks

  • Maren Gandy said:

Because licking the bowl is great!

  • Lauren Keating said:

I already posted, but I just got another email saying to leave a comment to win. I really want to take my son to this to help us get away from everything that has been going on in our lives. We lost my one grandmother in August, my uncle in November and today god took another piece of my heart and took my other grandmother. I am not looking for you to feel bad for me but I could use a fun family distraction and with money being so tight these days, winning these tickets would mean the world to me. I just hope that everyone has a blessed holiday and we all remember to be around the ones we love because we don’t know how long we have with them.

    Hi Cape May County Moms!!

Yummo! Making cake is almost as much fun as eating cake!! I like making cakes because I enjoy being creative and making my children happy! Also, some of my best memories of my own Mom revolve around her surprising us with homemade treats and cakes! The best memory is coming home from school and opening the door to the wonderful aroma of Mom’s Moist Chocolate Cake! It’s the smell of home!! That’s a memory I hope my kids will remember as well!!
    Have a great holiday, everyone!!
